Chairman, Sri Kanchi Sankara Health And Educational Foundation
Patron, OPAIC 2019
I am pleased to be able to welcome you all to mark the 30th Annual Conference of Oculoplastics Association of India(OPAIC 2019) organized on the the 6th to 8th of September, 2019. The annual conference of Oculoplastic Association of India is a much sought after platform for sharing of idea and bestows upon its attendees an excellent opportunity to catch up with old colleagues and emerging surgeons of the country and abroad in the field of Oculoplasty. I am very thrilled that this time it is organized in my hometown, Guwahati, Assam, by Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya. Guwahati is the land of the mighty river Brahmaputra, known worldwide for its exotic varieties of tea and for the endangered one-horned Rhinoceros. It houses one of the most ancient and revered Shakti temples of India, the temple of Maa Kamakhya. It gives me immense pleasure, as a patron, to be able to welcome you all to an event which I am confident is going to leave you enriched with knowledge and a lifetime of fond memories. I offer my best wishes and blessings for the success of the event.
